It’s just my opinion but not everyone in the nation cares about the World Series. Baseball is and has been on the decline. In a desperate attempt to keep the NFL from hurting FOX and MLB’s ratings NBC will be airing National Treasure instead of Sunday Night Football. Personally, I find National Treasure to be far more entertaining than the boringness that is baseball.
Baseball season is far too long and should have ended during NFL preseason. With so few NFL games played and even fewer aired on national television it is a disgrace to have a prime-time game pulled in favor of inflating the ratings for the World Series. I call shenanigans. We NFL fans should not be deprived. NBC should man up and show a game regardless of whether or not the World Series is on at the same time.

1I agree. Baseball is like the cool pretty girl in school that moved away. Sure, she comes back a week or two a year (post season). During that time everyone is all like wow, isnt she the best! I sure did miss her. Then, she leaves and everyone quickly forgets her again.

2That might be the best analogy I’ve ever heard.
